Every tan includes a personalized shade tailored to your skin tone and desired color, your choice of classic or rapid solution, barrier cream, and finishing powder. We’ll help you choose your shade and explain when to rinse and how to care for your tan.

The difference is when you rinse. Classic solution stays on longer before your first shower, while rapid lets you rinse sooner. Both are tailored to your desired shade—rapid doesn’t automatically mean darker. We’ll recommend the best option for your schedule and give you specific rinse instructions.

• Loose, dark clothing, preferably with long sleeves and full-length pants.
• Slides, flip-flops, or other loose-fitting shoes.
• Skip a bra afterward if you’re comfortable, to minimize rubbing and marks.
• If rain is expected, bring an umbrella and clothing that keeps your skin covered and dry.

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in—underwear, a swimsuit, or nothing at all. Anything you leave on will create tan lines, so consider the neckline and straps of what you’ll be wearing afterward, especially for a wedding or special event.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:

• Shower, shave, and exfoliate 12–24 hours before your appointment.
• Moisturize after your shower. Avoid Dove and Bath & Body Works products.
• Schedule facials, massages, manicures, and pedicures before your tanning appointment.
• Complete waxing at least 48 hours beforehand.
• Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup, deodorant, perfume, lotion, and oils.

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT:

• Rinse at your designated time to prevent overprocessing.
• Your first rinse should be water only—no soap, shampoo, or conditioner.
• Allow 12–24 hours after your first rinse for your tan to fully develop.
• Avoid saunas, hot tubs, and chlorinated pools to help preserve your tan.
• Pat your skin dry after showering or swimming rather than rubbing with a towel.
